Knights of Columbus Council 9410 will conjure up a bit of Monaco magic when it presents its annual Charity Poker Tournament and Monte Carlo Night at 5:45 p.m. Sat., April 20 at St. Peter Claver Parish Hall, 5649 Pittman St., Simi Valley.

The fundraiser, now in its ninth year, raises money for various community causes supported by the Knights. In addition to the Texas Hold ’em poker tournament, there will be classic Monte Carlo-style games for both seasoned players and novices alike.

“We’re thrilled to host our ninth Charity Poker Tournament and Monte Carlo Night,” said Joe Gray, a Knights of Columbus 9410 trustee who is helping to organize the event. “It’s not just about the games. It’s about coming together as a community to support those in need.”

In addition to the casino action, Red’s BBQ will serve a buffet dinner and there will be silent auctions and raffles.

“Every year, we’re blown away by the generosity and support shown by the Simi Valley community,” said Rick Lepore of the St Vincent de Paul Society. “We’re looking forward to another successful event and making a positive impact together.”

To register for the tournament, go to 9410charitypoker.com. Admission is $75 for Monte Carlo players, $100 for poker players. For more information, call (818) 421-0170 or send an email to info@9410charitypoker.com.
