High school shows its winning colors


A GREAT GROUP—Moorpark High School’s Color Guard team has taken part in various competitions against other high school groups from across Southern California since February. The team won first place on Feb. 11 at a competition in Huntington Beach and again on March 4 in an event in Arcadia. The color guard also placed second in West Ranch on March 24. The team includes Micayla Hennelly, Misty Hennelly, Erin Morningred, Luz Garcia, Ashley Rokos, Tayla Richards, Sarah Edison and Elisa Taillon.
