Mother’s Day is Sun., May 13, and the Moorpark Acorn wants your mom to receive the recognition she deserves.

In 100 words or fewer, please write and tell us about your favorite Mom Moment. Whether it’s a poignant memory, a funny incident that happened or just a few kind words for Mom, your thoughts are important. Even if she’s passed on, we’d still like to hear about your favorite Mom Moment.

Your note to Mom will be published May 11 in the newspaper and online. Send your email to moorparkmoms@theacorn.com. You may also submit your entry online at www.theacorn.com. You must include your name and hometown.

Email and online submissions must be received no later than noon on Fri., May 4. Remember: your name, hometown and no more than 100 words.
