Sept. 5

Items valued at more than $400 were stolen from a car parked in the 700 block of Poindexter Avenue.

Someone stole mail from a box outside the post office on Los Angeles Avenue.

Sept. 7

Mail was stolen from a curbside mailbox on Charles Street.

Sept. 11

A bag containing car keys and a wallet with credit cards was stolen from someone at the Rustic Canyon Golf Course on Happy Camp Road. The bag and the keys were returned, but the thief kept the credit cards. Using stolen cards, fraudulent purchases were made from Sept. 11 to Oct. 10 in several local cities.

Sept. 13

A resident on Nelson Road reported being the victim of identity theft.

Sept. 18

Police cited a 27-year-old man who fled the scene of an accident in the 7000 block of Campus Drive.

A person made numerous harassing phone calls to somebody on Vinewood Court.

Three different times between Sept. 18 and Oct. 10, fuel was siphoned from two work trucks parked in the 5100 block of Commerce Avenue.

Sept. 30

Someone was cited for hitting another person on Citrus Drive.

Oct. 3

An 18-year-old was cited for violating his probation terms by associating with documented gang members in the vicinity of High Street.

Oct. 5

Burglars stole property from a home on Granadilla Drive.

Oct. 7

Someone stole merchandise from a store in the 4200 block of Tierra Rejada Road.

Oct. 8

Police arrested a man who was driving on a suspended license on Los Angeles Avenue. The 49-yearold motorist was stopped because he was talking on a cellphone while driving. He also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

A known suspect stole $200 from someone in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

Someone was cited for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana at an undisclosed location in Moorpark.

Oct. 9

Police arrested someone for driving under the influence of controlled substances on Tierra Rejada Road.

Shoplifters stole two LCD televisions from a display rack in a store in the 300 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

Oct. 10

Authorities arrested a drunk driver on Inglewood Street who was driving too fast.

Vandals caused more than $400 in damage to a car parked on Wicks Road.

Police arrested a 40-year-old man who was under the influence of methamphetamines at Los Angeles Avenue and Park Lane. Another arrest involving a person who was under the influence of controlled substances occurred in the 400 block of Los Angeles Avenue the same day.

Thieves stole a car stereo and an iPod from a car parked on Talmadge Road. The loss was esimated at $300. Car burglars also stole $1,200 worth of valuables from an unlocked car parked on Mira Sol Drive the same day.

Somebody was cited for fleeing the scene of a traffic collision. The incident occurred at Walnut Creek Road and Mountain Trail Street.

An 18-year-old who had an outstanding warrant was arrested on Avenida Colonia after attempting to flee from deputies.

Oct. 11

Someone stole a hubcap from a car parked on Cornett Avenue. Thieves also stole property from a car parked on Majestic Court.

A 28-year-old man who possessed marijuana and who was driving with expired vehicle registration was cited at Princeton Avenue and Spring Road.

Vandals spray painted graffiti on city property at an undisclosed location. The damage was estimated at more than $400.

Police arrested a suspect who displayed signs of being under the influence of alcohol and who was involved in a traffic collision at the southbound freeway on-ramp of Los Angeles Avenue.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for associating with known gang members on Moorpark Avenue, which was in violation of his parole.

Oct. 12

A 48-year-old man turned himself in at the police station for violating his parole.

A burglar assaulted someone in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

Someone was cited for two misdemeanors at the intersection of the 118 Freeway and Collins Drive.

Oct. 13 Burglars stole tools and caused damage to a property on Gabbert Road. The loss was estimated at between $5,000 and $10,000.

Someone stole property from a car parked at an undisclosed location in Moorpark.

Suspect(s) caused $500 in damages to a car parked in the 7000 block of Campus Road.
