Vandals caused $200 in damage spray painting a wall at Chaparral Middle School in the 200 block of Poindexter Avenue.

Aug. 28

Police arrested a 25-year-old man who stole property by force in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue. The man also had a meth pipe in his possession.

Someone was arrested for driving while drunk on Spring Road, south of Los Angeles Avenue. A similar incident involving a driver under the influence of alcohol occurred at Spring Road and Second Street that day.

After stopping a man who was talking on his cellphone while driving on Moorpark Avenue, police arrested him after finding graffiti items and marijuana in his car. The man was also driving without a valid license.

Aug. 29

Someone with an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court was arrested near Los Angeles and Goldman avenues.

A shoplifter was cited for stealing merchandise from a supermarket in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue. Another person who tried to steal items from the store was also arrested.

Aug. 30

Police arrested a 53-year-old man who was driving under the influence of alcohol near the intersection of Moorpark and Poindexter avenues.

A man who was under the influence of controlled substances was arrested in the 300 block of Los Angeles Avenue. His bail was set at $5,000.

Police cited a person who was sitting at the Metrolink train station with an open container of beer.

A man who allegedly committed a robbery in Piru was arrested on Moorpark Avenue.

Authorities cited a man for possessing marijuana at Spring Road and High Street.

Someone who was driving while drunk and without a license was arrested at an undisclosed location.

Sept. 1 A 32yearold woman was arrested on Moorpark Avenue near Park Crest for having an outstanding warrant.

Someone was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Spring Road, north of Tierra Rejada Road.

In the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue, police arrested a man who was allegedly involved in a hit and run.
