In the wake of the murder of Kansas abortion provider, George Tiller, I want to express my sorrow for this sad occurrence and make it very clear that the Community Pregnancy Clinic of Simi Valley/Moorpark in no way condones the brutal killing that took place Sun., May 31.

As part of the prolife community, we seek to provide lifeaffirming solutions to women and men facing unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.

Since 1991, we have been offering hope and healing to anyone who needs our services in a context of truth, compassion and dignity. All our services are free and confidential. One does not have to agree with us in order to benefit from what we do.

As proponents of compassion and mercy, we would never resort to nor condone violent, destructive or illegal actions. The person or persons who committed this act were wrong and must face the consequences of their actions through the court of law.

As an organization, we will continue to pray for the Tiller family, the community in which he lived and the sanctity of all human life. Dave Wilkinson Moorpark
