The Ventura County Chapter of SCORE is offering a summer workshop program called The Entrepreneur Series for current and future business owners.

The six seminars will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. alternate Saturdays at Oxnard College, 4000 S. Rose Ave., Oxnard. The seminars will cover these topics.

June 13: For the new entrepreneur. Researching ideas, getting permits, financing, marketing and developing a business plan.

June 27: Principles of marketing.

July 11: Creating a better cash management plan.

July 25: Building a better business plan.

Aug. 8: Growing, managing and operating a business.

Aug. 22: Internet marketing.

Fees are $159 for workshops one through five together and $183 for the entire series.

Individual sessions are $39 for workshops one through five and $49 for workshop six.

At the door, add $5 to fee.
