The Moorpark High girls' swim team nabbed ninth place at the CIF-Southern Section Division II swimming finals at Long Beach last weekend, earning 94 points.

Marmonte League rival Westlake won the Division II girls' championship with 178.5 points.

The Musketeers' 200-yard freestyle relay team of Summer Bennett, Amber Bennett, Sam Magnani and Alanah Bird took third place, touching the wall in 1 minute, 40.02 seconds.

Magnani, Bird and the Bennett sisters nabbed sixth place in the 200 medley relay (1:52.35).

Bird was seventh in the 100 breaststroke, while Magnani won the consolations (ninth overall) in the 500 freestyle in 5:07.34 and was 12th in the 200 freestyle.

Summer Bennett was ninth in the 200 IM and 16th in the 100 butterfly.
