A woman was arrested May 5 for stealing merchandise valued at more than $2,000 from a store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue. The thefts occurred over a period of several months while the woman was employed at the store.

Someone stole merchandise valued at less than $400 from the Michaels arts and crafts store in the 810 block of Los Angeles Avenue May 5.

During a May 5 incident on Chapman Place, somebody was battered with a large glass object.

Thieves stole property on May 5 from a building in the 13000 block of Christian Barrett Drive. The loss was less than $400.

On May 5 police arrested a Target store employee in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue for allegedly making fraudulent merchandise returns and then purchasing other merchandise between March 21 and April 16.

Police arrested a juvenile who caused less than $400 in damage by spray painting graffiti on city property at an undisclosed location on May 4.

A 25-year-old man was arrested May 4 for allegedly being in possession of stolen goods, a firearm and drugs on Avenida Colonia. The subject, who was on probation, was also conducting an auto repair business without permits. His bail was set at $120,000.

Police on May 3 arrested a parolee who violated the terms of his probation. The man, who was prohibited from consuming alcohol, was too intoxicated to care for himself when police found him in the 13800 block of Princeton Avenue.

On May 3 someone was arrested for hitting another person with a wooden sign. The incident occurred in the 590 block of Los Angles Avenue.

Police responded to a domestic violence incident May 3 at an apartment complex in Moorpark.

On May 3 someone dumped 16 tires on the side of a public road at an undisclosed location in Moorpark.

Vandals caused $50 in damage May 3 by spray painting graffiti in the 140 block of Leta Yancy Road. They were arrested shortly thereafter.
