Moorpark police are investigating a stabbing which took place at about 9:40 p.m. May 10 in the 100 block of West Los Angeles Avenue in Moorpark.

Deputies responded to a report of a fight in progress. Reynaldo Munoz, 26, of Moorpark had sustained multiple stab wounds to his body, face and head.

Munoz had argued with several unidentified men. A fight ensued and Munoz was stabbed. Following the incident, the men ran away.

Munoz was transported to Los Robles Hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life threatening.

The suspects have not been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
