Bagwell has the energy, vision to make a difference

I am writing to try and set the record straight about David Bagwell.

My family had the pleasure of contracting Bagwell Construction to do an addition in our home a few years back, and we were not disappointed.

Our construction was done in the late fall, and we were worried about it impacting our Christmas holiday. David assured us that the job would be done in time and worked tirelessly to ensure that it was done on time, within budget and to our level of satisfaction. We couldn't have been happier.

While it's a shame that Mr. Godinez did not seem to have a good experience, I don't believe that a parallel can be drawn from a single experience to what David will do when elected to the council.

David and his family work hard, not just in their business but also at giving back to a community that has been good to them. David is a member of the Rotary Club and is at every event, donating his time and that of his family to ensure that the rest of us have a positive experience. His wife, Jodi, has helped out on my daughters' winter softball league in the past and made sure that the girls' had a fun and safe experience.

Whether it's at the Rotary Club, coaching soccer, helping with softball or his business, Mr. Bagwell puts 100 percent effort into it with only one thing on his mind—doing what's right for Moorpark.

I am confident that he will take that energy and vision into the City Council and continue to do what's right for Moorpark. Sharon Roth Moorpark
