Cancer recovery

Breanna here with another update on my overall health and wellbeing in my ongoing battle with brain cancer. Recently my parents and I met with my neurooncologist who was just overjoyed to see how well I am doing. I continue gaining weight and strength by eating well and continuing my morning workouts with my dad.

I am feeling great and still wake up every morning with the right attitude of me telling myself that I am going to defeat this disease and hopefully one day be cancer free, driving and living the life of a normal 18-year-old girl.

I am looking forward to the next Relay for Life which will be held at Moorpark High School, April 25 and 26.

As each day goes by, medicine is getting closer to finding a cure. I get to celebrate with all the awesome survivors, and remembering the many loved ones who sadly lost the battle, yet still remain close to our hearts and are heroes to this very day. We must keep them in our hearts forever, because without them we would not have learned and gained advancement in defeating this disease. Breanna Pflaumer Moorpark
