Sometime between Dec. 1 and Jan. 3, vandals used cans of spray paint and permanent markers to write graffiti on walls at the shopping center in the 200 block of Los Angeles Avenue.
On Dec. 13 a known suspect entered the Alliance gas station at 50 West Los Angeles Avenue and walked out with two 18-packs of beer without paying.
Sometime between Dec. 31 and Jan. 6 thieves entered a trailer on 200 Science Drive and stole property.
On Jan. 3 burglars entered a store in the 400 block of Los Angeles Avenue and tried to steal goods.
An alleged battery occurred on Jan. 5 in the 100 block of South Moorpark Avenue. A female's boyfriend, who had left the scene, was confirmed to have an active restraining order against him. He was later located and arrested.
On Jan. 7 a man was discovered passed out in his car with the key in the ignition and the radio playing. The car was registered to the occupant, who was under the influence of alcohol.
Thieves entered the Kohl's store on Jan. 9, concealed store merchandise in a black purse and a diaper bag and left without paying.
During a probation search conducted on Jan. 9, a male on Nogales Avenue was found in possession of .4 grams of tar heroin and a smoking pipe. He was later determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested.
On Jan. 9, a suspected shoplifter was in possession of stolen merchandise from a department store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue, a Nevada driver's license and someone else's identification. She was arrested and transferred to the Main Jail.
On Jan. 9, while deputies were looking into a shoplifting situation in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue, a suspect was found in possession of scissors, a razor blade and a 6inch steel rod. She was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, and possession of burglary tools and booked into Main Jail.
A man under the influence of a controlled substance was arrested on Jan. 9 on Los Angeles Avenue at Spring Road.
Deputies searched two pickup trucks parked at the west end of Casey Road on Jan. 10 after their drivers were found trespassing on the property. Beer and marijuana were found in one of the truck. Both drivers were cited.
On Jan. 10 a woman on Blue Ridge Way was deemed intoxicated in public, unable to care for herself and a danger to others. She was placed under arrest.
On Jan. 11 a suspect armed with a knife was stopped by deputies on his way to a home on Roberts Avenue and arrested. Earlier, he had made telephone threats to kill the person living on Roberts.
A man on Spring Road was found intoxicated in public and unable to care for himself. He was placed under arrest on Jan. 11.
On Jan. 12 deputies found a female in an intoxicated state walking by Walgreens in the 100 block of West Los Angeles Avenue. She was arrested for public intoxication.
Incidents of graffiti/vandalism took place at the dates and places indicated: Jan. 2 in the 600 block of Moorpark Avenue; Jan. 2 in the 100 block of High Street; Jan. 2 in the 300 block of High Street; Jan. 2 at the Cactus Patch Restaurant on High Street; Jan. 2 in the 200 block of High Street; Jan. 2 at Ron's Portable Welding in the 300 block of High Street; Jan. 2 at Kahoots Feed and Pet Store in the 300 block of High Street; Jan. 2 in the 400 block of High Street; Jan. 2 at Domino's Pizza in the 400 block of High Street; Jan. 4 in the 300 block of West Los Angeles Avenue; Jan. 5 at Tierra Rejada Road and Harvester Street.
Incidents of a person driving without a license or a suspended license took place on Jan. 11 and 12 in unspecified areas of Moorpark.
A DUI incident took place on Jan. 1 on Spring Road around High Street.
