Auditions open for 'Dog Whisperer'

Show producer Kay Summer will audition dog owners and their pets for season five of "The Dog Whisperer" on the National Geographic Channel, from 4 to 5 p.m. Fri., Jan. 23 at PETCO, 742 Los Angeles Ave., Ste. A, Moorpark.

The program is looking for a wide variety of dog problems, including unusual phobias, obsessions, fearful behavior or any other unique situations that dog whisperer Cesar Millan could help transform.

Owners are asked to leave aggressive dogs at home. Owners do not bring their dogs to the audition.

Owners should bring copies of all press release forms and a video (any format) showing their dog's behaviors. Submissions cannot be accepted without a video.

For specifics of what to include in the video and what to bring to the audition, go to www.cesarmillaninc.com

Cesar Millan is a worldrenowned dog behavior specialist, known for his ability to create stability in even the aggressive dogs. He is known on his television show as a dog trainer who "trains humans and rehabilitates dogs."
