Between Dec. 3 and Jan. 3 burglars entered a victim's locked storage unit on Goldman Avenue and stole property.

Sometime between Dec. 5 and 15, thieves used someone's personal information to buy goods in stores in Moorpark and Simi Valley.

Thieves entered a home on Stagecoach Trail and stole jewelry between Dec. 12 and 30.

Sometime between Dec. 18 and 31, known suspects altered a physician's prescription form to obtain medication from a pharmacy in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

Sometime between Dec. 19 and Jan. 11, a suspect broke a window and door handle to a home on Moorpark Avenue and placed mattresses inside.

On Dec. 22, thieves broke locks on storage containers in the 5400 block of Endeavour Court.

A man on Gabbart Road was in possession of stolen property on Dec. 23.

A thief stole three items from a department store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue on Dec. 24.

Two truck batteries valued at $80 each were stolen from a business site in the 5900 block of Condor Drive. Also, time two truck gas tanks were punctured and a fill hose to the gas tank of a cargo van was cut. The theft and vandalism took place sometime between Dec. 24 and 26.

On Dec. 26 someone stole items from a department store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

A man was arrested in a department store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue on Dec. 26 for leaving the store with a bottle of perfume stuffed in his waistband.

On Dec. 26 a driver under the influence of illegal drugs drove his car into a light pole at the intersection of Spring and Walnut Canyon roads. He then ran into a steel fence about 100 feet down the embankment. He refused to cooperate with a DUI investigation and was placed under arrest.

A man was arrested on Dec. 27 in the area of Park Lane and Park Crest for being in possession of merchandise reported stolen from Longs drugs earlier that day.

A driver stopped on Dec. 29 at Condor Drive for a broken center brake lamp was found in possession of marijuana and hashish. She was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

On Dec. 30 thieves used a brick to break the rear window of a truck parked in front of TJ Maxx in the Moorpark Marketplace. A purse was stolen from the truck.

On Dec. 30 a tractor stolen from an address on Gabbart Road showed up in the 1400 block of Madera Road in Simi Valley. The driver was arrested for possession of stolen property.

Sometime between Dec. 31 and Jan. 4, vandals entered the property of a nursery in the 12700 block of Tierra Rejada Drive. They removed a lock from a storage container, then drove tractors around the property, causing permanent damage to a water supply line before driving a tractor into the Simi Arroyo. The vandals also damaged a tractor by scratching graffiti into the engine cover with a sharp metal object.

A man allegedly battered his companion on Dec. 31 on Thomasville Court. The victim requested the man be prosecuted.

A theft occurred on Dec. 31 on Spring Road.

On Jan. 1, a person was struck in the face by a thrown beer bottle, causing injury. The incident took place on Sunsetridge Road.

During a probation stop made on Jan. 3 on Los Angeles Avenue, marijuana was found in the car of the suspect, who was cited and released on a promise to appear in court.

On Jan. 3 thieves broke into a locked storage container in the 3900 block of Brennen Road and stole property.

On Jan. 4 someone cut a gash out of a window frame to threaten a victim and, when leaving the scene, intentionally tipped over the victim's motorcycle, causing damage. The incident took place on Citrus Drive.

A woman entered a store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue on Jan. 4 and stole property.

A thief stole items from a department store on Jan. 4 in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

A closed garage door was forced open on Jan. 8 in the 100 block of S. Moorpark Avenue and a CD/DVD/TV stereo device was stolen.

On Jan. 10 a victim on Pine Hollow Place had credit cards stolen. The thief used one of the cards to obtain goods.

On Jan. 11 a man was arrested in the 13900 block of Eaton Hollow for spousal abuse.

A woman allegedly battered her boyfriend on Jan. 12 on Coralberry Court, leaving him with visible injury. The man had hit the girlfriend with an arm cast, leaving her with a large lump on her cheekbone.

Incidents of auto vandalism or burglary took place at the dates and places indicated: Dec. 22 in the 5200 block of North Commerce Avenue, Dec. 30 on Bear Valley Road, Jan. 3 on Happy Camp Road, Jan. 4 on Tierra Rejada Road, Jan. 7 in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue, Jan. 9 on High Street, Jan. 10 in the 100 block of High Street.

Incidents of graffiti/vandalism took place at the dates and places indicated: Dec. 19 in the 13400 block of Christian Barrett Road, Dec. 21 at Laurelhurst and Rolling Knoll roads, Dec. 30 in the 13900 block of Peach Hill Road, Dec. 31 in the 100 block of High Street, Jan. 1 on Juarez Avenue, Jan. 1 in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue, Jan. 1 in the 100 block of High Street, Jan. 1 at 11 High Street, Jan. 3 in the 10700 block of Citrus Drive.

Incidents of a person driving without a license or a suspended license took place at the dates and places indicated: Dec. 24, 27 and 31 in unidentified areas of Moorpark, Dec. 24 on Spring Road around Los Angeles Avenue, Dec. 27 on Los Angeles Avenue around Park Lane, Dec. 28 on Los Angeles Avenue around Shasta Avenue, Dec. 29 on Los Angeles Avenue around Leta Yancy Road, Dec. 29 on Los Angeles and Flory avenues, Dec. 30 on Tierra Rejada Road around the 23 Freeway, Dec. 30 and Jan. 2 on Los Angeles Avenue around Miller Parkway.

The following incident took place outside the incorporated city of Moorpark: A man, arguing with his girlfriend on Jan. 1 on Grimes Canyon Road, allegedly hit her, leaving the woman with a bruise to her right shoulder. The man also fired a gun, leaving the woman to fear for her safety.
