'Monkee man' wows the crowd at CVD

      Fans came from as far away as Lodi, Calif., to greet Monkees lead singer Micky Dolenz on May 1 at Conejo Valley Days in Thousand Oaks. Audience members began arriving at 5 p.m. to stake out front row seats for the 8 p.m. show.

Arts center presents 'Curious Savage'
      John Patrick's comedy "The Curious Savage" will open 8 p.m. Fri., May 16 at the High Street Arts Center, 45 E. High St., Moorpark. The play will run through June 15. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, with 2 p.m. matinees on Sundays.
