Martial arts school chauffeurs students to class

The Transported After School Martial Arts Program is the only one of its kind in the Moorpark Area. The program is called a "constructive alternative to day care" and provides a way for children to attend martial arts classes after school while their parents work.

During the school year, the program transports the children from their school and delivers them safely to the 8,000-square-foot training center of American Hapkido in Moorpark.

The students then participate in a martial arts class, physical activities and character-building quiet activities. Parents pick their children between 5 and 6:30 p.m.
