Moorpark swimmers have a blast at Royal Invite

WENDY PIERRO/Acorn Newspapers ENCOURAGEMENT- Moorpark High swim team members, from left, Lauren Houghton, Amber Bennett, Sam Skouras, Joanna Kassar and Emily Sarpolus cheer on their teammates last Saturday at the Royal Swim Invitational/Josh Mlakar Memorial Meet. The event was hosted by the Royal High Aquatics Booster Club and held at the Rancho Simi Community Park pool in Simi Valley. It included 32 schools and approximately 1,000 swimmers. The MHS girls finished in sixth place.
