There's music in the air at Blues Festival Write4Hope and Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley present the third annual Blues Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow, Sat., April 26 at Oak County Park, 901 Quimisa Drive, Simi Valley. Musicians include Robben Ford, Jimmy Z and the ZTribe, Simi Valley resident Michael John & The Bottom Line, BB Chung King & The Buddaheads, Laurie Morvan Band, and Barry "Big B" Brenner. Actor and musician Mickey Jones is master of ceremonies. Frank Kramer and Heidi Hamilton from the Frosty, Heidi and Frank Show on 97.1 Free FM will also appear. The festival will feature food, beverage, and craft vendors. Harley Davidson will display motorcycles. Jones's signed book, "That Would Be Me" will be available for purchase. There will be a raffle for three guitars signed by the artists. New for the festival this year is an RV Package for $150 that includes festival tickets for two, plus three days and two nights at Oak County Park. Adult tickets are $25 at the gate. Children are $5, with children 4 and under free. Proceeds from the event will help support local charities, including the Free Clinic and the Samaritan Center of Simi Valley. On site parking is $10.
