Life Coaching Is A Vital Business

Mary Ann Lowry, who has a master's degree, has launched a new life coaching business after completing the training requirements as a Martha Beck certified life coach.

Beck is a best-selling author and a regular contributor to "O Magazine."

A study conducted at the University of Sydney states that "Life coaching can help people set and reach their goals, can enhance their sense of wellbeing and personal development. Life coaching can be compared to selecting a 'self-help' book and bringing it to life with the coach serving as the interpreter."

Lowry's goal in organizing "Create a New Season" is to help individual clients and groups dig out from the dungeons of thoughts that may hold them captive. According to Lowry, through a discovery process based on one's own life, it's possible to learn more about the real person which may be buried under years of limiting thoughts.

Coaching is not therapy but rather personal training for the soul. For those who don't feel quite right with their personal life, career, relationship or parenting, life coaching is often a valuable next step.

Lowry's areas of expertise include personal/career and parenting coaching, organization and goal setting for individuals with ADHD, coping with chronic pain and other life challenges, adolescent girls' confidence and competence group coaching.

Lowry will offer a seminar called "The Secret behind The Secret: Define Your Life's Dreams to Make Them Come True" on Sat., April 26 at the Greenhouse Café in Thousand Oaks.

For details or to register, call Lowry at (818) 610-3901 or visit www.createanewseason.com.
