Families can enjoy fun night

•The Moorpark Family Resource Center will host a Family Fun Night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. tonight, Fri., April 18 at 61 High St., Moorpark.

All arts and crafts will be made from recyclable trash, such as water bottles and newspaper, that families have brought in for the last few months.

The Sunshine Band, a group of Moorpark College professors who play children's music, will present a benefit concert starting at approximately 6:45 p.m.

•The center sponsors child car seat checkups and installation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Monday in the facility parking lot. This project is funded by Safe Kids USA.

Trained car seat safety technicians from Safe Kids, Camarillo Fire Department, and Moorpark Highway Patrol provide the inspections.
