Shoplifters arrested

Authorities have arrested four Santa Paula men who were allegedly involved in a recent theft at the Target store in Moorpark.

The suspects stole more than $1,500 worth of merchandise from the department store last Sunday, said Sgt. Will Hammer of the Moorpark Police.

The stolen goods were found in the back of a vehicle occupied by the young men, who are between the ages of 19 and 22. Further investigation revealed that the suspects had attempted a similar theft from a Target store in Oxnard on April 3, authorities said.

The men were booked into the Ventura County Jail without bail. They were arraigned last Monday.
