President greets local Air Force colonel

COMMANDER IN CHIEF- Lt. Col. Kenneth Plaks, a Moorpark native and a career Air Force officer, meets President George Bush when the chief executive recently visited Plaks' class at the National War College in Washington, DC. Plaks is the son of Moorpark residents Harvey and Linda Plaks. Harvey Plaks volunteers with the Moorpark Police Department and Linda Plaks is active in Moorpark Rotary. After Kenneth Plaks completes his studies at the National War College, he will be assigned to the Pentagon in Washington, DC.
