Interfaith group promotes peaceful alternatives

The Ventura County Interfaith Community will sponsor an Alternative to Violence demonstration/ lecture and a Victory Over Violence exhibit at 7 p.m. Tues., April 8 at the SGI-USA Oxnard Activity Center, 2340 Wankel Way, Oxnard.

Guest speakers are UC Santa Barbara Professor Stephen Pope and mediator Percy Severn. A representation from the Oxnard Police Department will also attend.
