Dispose trash for free

Free Landfill Day for Moorpark residents will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., April 20 at Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center, 2801 Madera Road.

Moorpark residents can properly dispose of accumulated household waste and recycle yard trimmings at this time.

Hazardous material, construction debris, and business waste are not accepted.

No appointments are necessary, but proof of residency is required.
