Political cartoonist to speak at synagogue next Friday

Award winning political cartoonist Steve Greenberg will be the guest speaker at Congregation B'nai Emet's Shabbat service at 8 p.m. Fri., March 28 at the synagogue at 4645 Industrial St., No. 2C, Simi Valley.

Greenberg is an editorial cartoonist and news artist for the Ventura County Star and also a regular contributing cartoonist for the Jewish Journal.

He previously worked for the Seattle PostIntelligencer, San Francisco Examiner, San Francisco Chronicle, Marin Independent Journal and the Los Angeles Daily News.

His book "Fine-Tooning the Planet" is a collection of his environmental cartoons and will be available for purchase.
