New officers join local CHP

Five new officers are completing their training at the Moorpark CHP Office.

Officers Jason Flores, John Marsh, Timothy Wren, and Dusty Manning have finished their initial training with three different field trainingofficers,andare working the road on their own. They arrived a t the Moorpark CHP Office in October 2007.

Officer Dustin Wood has completedthefi rsttwo phases of his training and is working with his third field training officer. Wood was assigned to the local office out of the academy in December 2007.

Due to the additional officers, the area has been able to place another patrol unit on all shifts.
