Chamber panel to discuss healthcare financial crisis

The Moorpark Chamber of Commerce will host a discussion titled "The Healthcare Crisis in America: Medi-Cal Spend-down and Filial Responsibility Laws and Baby Boomers- are they prepared?" at 6:30 p.m. Mon., March 17 at the Chamber office, 18 E. High St., Moorpark.

Presenters will be Tod Houston of Genworth Financial, Nancy Knutson of Home Instead Senior Care, Laurie Reid of Home Instead, and David Crockett of Primerica.

The program will highlight the fiscal crisis this country will experience if the national healthcare situation continues. It is becoming clear that the government will not be able to deliver on the entitlements promised over the next 20 to 30 years.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served. There is no charge to attend.
