Students earn scholarships

The California Lutheran University Community Leaders Association recently presented scholarships to students.

The following area freshmen each received $1,500: Timothy Chandler, an accounting major from Moorpark, and Gina MarinelloSweeney, a liberal studies major from Thousand Oaks.

Ryan Boudreau, a senior business major from Thousand Oaks, received $1,250.

The students were selected for their community service, leadership potential and academic achievement.
