Air Force Airman Garner G. Cruz has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas and earned credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

He is the son of Amiable and Adelaida Cruz of Moorpark and a 2005 graduate of Moorpark High School.
