Art gallery to screen DVD on pottery making

High Studio Fine Art Gallery owner Jean Amador will premier the instructional DVD "Wheel Throwing 101" from 5 to 7 p.m. Sat., Feb. 23 at the High Studio Art Gallery, 11 E. High Street, Moorpark.

In the DVD, Esther and Ali Alinejad, owners of Clay Studio + Gallery Inc., demonstrate the step by step process of throwing on a pottery wheel.

Art by the Alinejads is included in the gallery's current show "Abstract Art From The Soul"

The Alinejads have been teaching in Thousand Oaks for more than seven years. They teach out of their studio, at various local Parks and Recreation centers, and in afterschool enrichment classes titled "Creativity with Clay" at local elementary schools.
