Recreation center offers programs for children, adults
      The Arroyo Vista Recreation Center is offering many activities for winter. Some programs begin in early February or in March. Programs for preschoolers include tot sports, music, stuffn-fluff workshops and themed playdates.

Fortnightly Club prepares for Valentine's Day
      The Moorpark Women's Fortnightly Club will meet for its monthly luncheon at 10 a.m. Fri., Feb. 8 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 13955 Peach Hill Road, Moorpark. The program will discuss "A Valentine Courtship" and arts in the community.
