Tall ships docked in Channel Islands Harbor for tours, trips

The tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain are in Channel Islands Harbor, docked in a berth at 3900 Pelican Way in Oxnard.
During the ships' stay, crew members will offer dockside tours, public sailings and educational programs for area elementary school students.
The tours will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. today, Fri., Jan. 25; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Jan. 26; and 4 to 5 p.m. Tues. and Wed., Jan. 29 and 30. A donation of $3 per person is suggested.
Tickets can be reserved for public sailings, including a family-friendly Adventure Sail on Sun., Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets for Adventure Sails are $55 for adults, $45 for seniors, students and active military, and $35 for children under 12.
Battle Sails, featuring mock sea battles between the two ships, are scheduled for 2 to 5 p.m. Jan. 26 and 27.
Tickets for Battle Sails are $60 for adults, $50 for seniors, students and active military, and $45 for children under 12.
