Class will teach pet first aid

The Conejo Recreation and Park District invites the community to a Petsaver class from 1 to 5 p.m. Sat., Feb. 23 at the Hillcrest Center, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

The class will cover dog and cat care including rescue breathing, choking management, wellness assessment, heat injuries, poisoning, bleeding protocols, bites and stings, dental care, injury assessment, and care for senior pets.

Each participant will receive a 42page Petsaver book and certificate upon completion of the class. Pets should be left at home.
