Arrest made in disturbance at Moorpark billiard hall Lynda Gomez, 30, of Moorpark was arrested on Jan. 20 as a suspect in a gang disturbance at Moorpark Family Billiards on West Los Angeles Avenue. The Moorpark Police Department received a call of a disturbance at Billiards at about 12:35 a.m. Jan. 20. Police personnel arrived and determined that an attempted robbery had occurred. The suspects had fled before the police arrived. Gomez was located a short time later in the parking lot of Taco Bell and was arrested after identification by the victims. Gomez is a documented gang member in Moorpark. At this time, the other suspects involved are still unidentified. The suspects include a Hispanic male, a Hispanic female and a Caucasian male. Anyone with information regarding this crime is encouraged to call the Moorpark Police Department with any information. Ventura County Crime stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of person(s) responsible for this crime.
