The hills are alive with color

SPECTACULAR- Above is Grimes Canyon just over the hill from Moorpark. Timothy Grimes of Moorpark took this photo of local landscape with his new SLR and a few lenses after the recent rain and snowfall. Grimes said, "The colors jump out at you when you come over the crest. I almost drove off the road." Below is the sunset facing west over the arroyo. Grimes said he took this photo with "my little point and shoot."
