Persons needed for advisory committee

The Moorpark City Council requests interested persons submit an application for consideration to fill a vacancy on the Active Adult Center Advisory Committee. The appointment is to complete the current term set to expire December 2008.

Applicants must be age 60 or over, a resident of Moorpark, and a registered voter.

The committee meets monthly and provides staff with recommendations related to the programming of active adult activities, including input which addresses the Active Adult Center operation and other general active adult-related issues and interests.

Applications may be obtained at City Hall, 799 Moorpark Ave. and at www.ci.moorpark.ca.us.

Applications may only be submitted to the city clerk at city hall and must be received at city hall by 5 p.m. Fri., Feb. 8. Postmarks are not accepted
