Tooting her own horn

PARADE PARTICIPANT- Tyler Reynolds,15, a sophomore at Moorpark High School, is ready to march with the Pasadena City College Honor Band in the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day. Back home in Moorpark, she steps lively with the Musketeer Marching Band. She was chosen to march in the parade with a band made up of 70 Pasadena City College students and about 130 students from various local high schools. More than 600 teens auditioned for the 130 spots. Band members rehearsed every Sunday in November and December, and then every day from Dec. 21 on except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
