A man was arrested on Dec. 12 for battering his 11-year old son, leaving visible injuries. A records check revealed an outstanding warrant on the father, and he was taken into custody. The incident took place on Moorpark Avenue.

Someone stole merchandise on Dec. 13 from the Alliance gas station in the 50 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

On Dec. 13 someone threw sparkplugs through the window of a business in the 300 block of Los Angeles Avenue and shattered it. Three cellphones were stolen from the store.

A person was arrested for petty theft in a shoplifting incident on Dec. 14 at Kohl's in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

On Dec. 15 someone stole property from a store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

An inebriated male was seen hanging out in front of the Walgreen's store in the 100 block of West Los Angeles Avenue on Dec. 15. Upon investigation, deputies found the young man was under the influence of illegal drugs and arrested him, transporting him to East Valley Jail.

A man was arrested in the 4500 block of Tierra Rejada Road on Dec. 15 for sending/showing harmful material.

Checks were stolen from a person living on Woodlake Manor sometime between Nov. 15 and 22. The checks were later forged and cashed.

Incidents of auto vandalism or burglary took place at the dates and places indicated: Dec. 12 on Charles Street, Dec. 13 on Broadway Road, Dec. 14 on Los Angeles Avenue.

An incident of graffiti/vandalism took place on Dec.13 in the 6400 block of Harvard Street.

Incidents of a person driving without a license or a suspended license took place at the dates and places indicated: three incidents on Dec. 12 in undisclosed areas of Moorpark; Dec. 12 on Los Angeles Avenue, Dec. 12 on Championship Drive, Dec. 14 on Los Angeles Avenue at Goldman Avenue, Dec. 14 on Princeton Avenue, Dec. 15 at an undisclosed intersection in Moorpark.
