Animal rescue offers art contest

Pawz & Clawz Animal Rescue is sponsoring an inaugural drawing contest for children ages 3 to 12. The theme is "Making a difference four paws at a time."

The three age categories are 3 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 12 with one winner for each category.

Submission deadline is 1 p.m. Sat., Dec. 20.

All drawings must be on white, 8.5-by-11-inch paper. Crayons, markers and colored pencils may be used. Include name, age and phone number on the back of the drawing.

All work must be done by the child, with no parental assistance.

Pawz & Clawz Animal Rescue is a private, nonprofit animal rescue sponsored by Eukanuba, located in Theresa's Country Feed & Pet Store, 1836 Erringer Road, Simi Valley.
