Update from Breanna Pflaumer

Did you know I just celebrated my 18th birthday, and soon to follow is my four-year anniversary since diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor, and they said I had three weeks to three months to live.

Let me tell you attitude is everything, and I have been doing great, feeling good, eating well and putting on weight.

Recently, we acquired some exercise equipment and I am working to accomplish many different goals. My first goal is to gain more muscle so that I am able to get back to the activities that I loved to do before, along with my efforts in defeating this terrible disease fora llchildrencurrently stricken, and those who will be in the future.

Recently I attended a Make-A-Wish fundraiser where Davy Jones of The Monkees performed. It gave me an opportunity to get my "groove on," and afterwards I went back stage to meet Davy Jones, the finale for a perfect night.

My direction of treatment is currently on a holding pattern until signs of tumor progression are determined, at which time a chemotherapy protocol that has shown positive results with lengthy terms of remission in previous patients will be our next course of action.

Take care and thank you for your prayers and support. Breanna Pflaumer Moorpark
