Moorpark High presents fall comedy Dec. 4 to 6
Moorpark High School's Council of Fine Arts will present its 2008 fall play, "My Son Is Crazy—But Promising" by Tim Kelly at 7 p.m. Thurs. to Sat., Dec. 4 to 6 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 6 in the school's Performing Arts Center, 4500 Tierra Rejada Road.

The farce describes the antics of Bud Granger and his get rich quick schemes. Recently retired as a writer of very low budget horror film, Bud has purchased the RitzApache Hotel in the Arizona desert where he believes he can find the legendary Lost Dutchman Gold Mine. Instead he finds a number of nutty characters, including a pair of inept and paranoid spies.
Cast members are Ricardo Cota, Leigh Puhek, Natalie Small, Elliot Best, Jessie Rueckert, Katy Luke, Jenna Musgrove, Jessica Portaro, Cory McMichael, Alexandra Peterson, Erin Goulet, David Jeffers, David Montoya, Eric Fields, Katie Woerner, Chelsea Sota, Jessica Gotsman, Shane Donart Williams, Kimberly Avery, Maddy Burnett and Emma Ocland.
