Civil War revelations
      Nearly 150 years since the surrender at Appomattox, the American Civil War remains one of the most fascinating and intriguing events of western civilization. Sponsored by the Moorpark Rotary Club, the 2008 reenactment was another success. Thousands attended the two-day event and were rewarded with a first hand perspective on American history.

Not happy with election results
      Okay, so the paranoid, under informed people have spoken. What is sad is that many people are finally proud to be called Americans with this wonderful new leadership that we will have, someone 50 years ago who would not even be able to vote. Do we have to wait for 50 more years for the constitution of our government to be true and mean equality for all.
