Interim Council member sought
      The Moorpark City Council is seeking applications from persons interested in an interim appointment to the council to serve approximately four to six months until an election is held to fill the vacancy. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older, reside within the corporate limits of the city of Moorpark, and be a registered voter within Moorpark.

      The Moorpark Toastmasters will celebrate its oneyear anniversary at 7 p.m. Wed., Nov. 19 at its new weekly meeting location at the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce, corner of High Street and Moorpark Road.
