Trooper visits a scout troop


LAW ABIDING—Officer Jerin Widofsky from Ventura County Sheriff's Department meets with Moorpark Girl Junior Scout Troop 83 at Peach Hill Academy Oct. 10. The girls are working on their Communication badge to help with their community service work at Vintage Simi Hills Senior Living. Widofsky discussed the ways police communicate, including use of their equipment and gear as well as hand signals to direct traffic.
