Synagogue moves into new site

Congregation B'nai Emet will move to a new location and celebrate with a Torah march at 11:30 a.m. Sun., Nov. 2, starting at the congregation's old site at 4645 Industrial St., Ste. 2C, Simi Valley.

The Torahs will be carried six miles to the new home at 9 West Bonita, Simi Valley.

Activities at the Bonita site— moon bounce, vendors and snack carts—will start at 11:30 a.m.

The Torahs are scheduled to arrive at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the Bonita site. At that time the mezuzot will be hung. The congregation's choir will perform. Rabbi Michele Paskow, Cantor Michael Russ, and Earl Rosado, temple president will give a dedication. Refreshments will be served.
