Young Moorpark Ambassador to study overseas
      Moorpark resident Esha Chhabra wants to use the power of film to bring international crises into American living rooms. The 2007 graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. got her first taste of documentar y filmmaking as a college student, interning with CNN and CBS Evening News.

Martial artists do good works
      The December Black Belt Team from Jason Flame's Tang Soo Do University has been participating in community service projects. In October the team conducted a Halloween Costume Drive to collect costumes that will be donated to Moorpark's Catholic Charities.

Car show to roll onto High Street
      Roamin's Relics presents its 29th annual car show from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., Oct. 26 along Old Town High Street in Moorpark. The show is open to all pre1974 vehicles and is limited to 500 cars. The event includes NSRA safety inspects, dash plaques, posters, event T-shirts, food, vendors, raffles, awards and model car contests.
