Country Days awards given

Following are the Moorpark Country Days Parade participant award winners.

•Moorpark Girls Softball won the Grand Sweepstakes (overall winner).

•Wells Fargo Stagecoach received the Mammoth Cup for best equestrian unit.

•Kings Row Cup for automobile: First place, Bad Habits Car Club; Second place, Sheriff Bob Brooks, restored police car; Third place, Gina Stevens driving her electric car with Mayor Pro Tem Janice Parvin.

•Apricot Cup for marching, dance, drill team: First place, Moorpark High School Band; Second place, Pam Rossi's Dance Ten; Third place, Port Hueneme High School Band.

•Paul Harris Cup for youth group: First place, Moorpark Girls Softball; Second place, Moorpark Unified School District; Third place, Moorpark Saints Football and Cheer.

•Rotary Cup for nonprofit organization: First place, Civil War reenactors; Second place, Moorpark Family Resource Center/First 5; Third place, Moorpark Vineyard Church.

•Chamber of Commerce Cup for commercial entry: First place, Pam Rossi's Dance Ten; Second place, Jason Flame Tang Soo Do University; Third place, American Hapkido.
