A thief stole checks from a resident of Penrose Avenue and used them between June 18 and July 18. Between Aug. 6 and Oct. 6 someone stole $2,409 from his employer in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue. The man was arrested. Between Aug. 24 and Oct. 2 a known suspect took his children away from his wife with intent to hide them from a lawful custodian. More ...
