No school? Then no more payments
      I am responding to Moorpark Unified School District Superintendent Ellen Smith's article "Regarding school at Highlands," Sept. 19. Highlands residents appreciate Ms. Smith taking the time to address homeowners' questions and concerns.

Taxpayers want accountability
      In regards to your article "Regarding schools at Highland," Sept. 19, I believe the bigger issue is of why we are not refunded our tax dollars when there is no intention of a school being built at Moorpark Highlands. The excuse for not refunding our money is the scheme of a binding contract to purchase this land. This is a very transparent excuse.

One more letter on the dog issue
      Bravo, my fellow Moorparkians. I want to commend everyone on their swift and accurate response to Michael Abdelsayed's horrifying letter regarding dog poop. Obviously, like Ed Freeman said, with people like this in the world it's no wonder we don't have world peace. I mean, obviously this guy must be the next Adolf Hitler or Saddam Hussein or something.
